Your 2026 Primary Election Cheat Sheet: Vote Like an Auroran
The 2026 Primary is Tuesday, June 30, and your mail ballot should land in your mailbox the week of June 9. Since Aurora spans Arapahoe, Adams, and Douglas counties, your ballot style depends on where you park your car—so verify your district at [GoVoteColorado.gov](https://www.govotecolorado.gov) before you fill in those bubbles.
The easiest way? Mail it back. No stamp needed—just sign the envelope and drop it in any USPS box by June 23 to be safe. Prefer to hand it off? Aurora has 24/7 drop boxes at: - Aurora Municipal Center (15151 E. Alameda Pkwy) - Central Recreation Center (18150 E. Vassar Ave) - Moorhead Recreation Center (2390 Havana St) - Any King Soopers pharmacy drop box citywide
Boxes close promptly at 7 p.m. on Election Day.
Want to vote in person? Vote Centers open June 23–30 (closed Sunday, June 28). You can vote at any center in your county—not just your precinct. Arapahoe County voters: the Aurora Election Office (14991 E. Hampden Ave) is your closest hub. Adams County folks head to the Adams County Government Center in Brighton or the Anythink York Street branch. Douglas County residents can use the Parker Library or Castle Rock locations.
