Your Friday Night Sports Line‑up in Aurora – Oct 30, 2026
Mark your calendars, Aurora families! This Friday, October 30, 2026, the city’s prep‑sports schedule rolls out a double‑header that’s sure to bring the community together. At 6:30 p.m., the Aurora High School Warriors will hit the turf for a high‑stakes football showdown against longtime rivals from the neighboring district. The game will be played under the bright lights of the Aurora Stadium, just off Main Street, where local fans gather for tailgates, food‑truck feasts, and that unmistakable buzz of hometown pride.
Later that night, at 8:15 p.m., the Aurora Girls’ Volleyball team takes the court at the Aurora Community Gymnasium for a thrilling match that promises fast‑paced rallies and standout spikes. Both events are free to the public, and the venues are fully accessible—perfect for a family night out or a quick after‑work break.
Planning to attend? Arrive early to snag the best parking spots near the stadium’s west lot, and consider grabbing a bite at The Brew House or Mama’s Diner, both just a block away and popular spots for pre‑game grub.
