Jeff Kloska, director of the Colorado Air and Space Port, was selected as second vice‑president of the Northwest Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives (NWAAAE) for the 2026‑2027 term. The election took place at the chapter’s annual conference in Missoula, Montana, earlier this month.

Kloska has led the Colorado Air and Space Port since January 2022. He holds a bachelor’s degree in aviation management with a minor in business management from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Prior to his current post, he worked in the aviation departments of the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth and served as president of the Texas Airports Council.

The NWAAAE, founded in 1971, is the regional affiliate of the Airport Association of America (AAAE), the world’s largest professional organization for commercial and general‑aviation airport personnel.

What this means for residents: Kloska’s new role gives Aurora a voice in regional airport policy discussions and may help attract industry expertise and resources to the city’s aviation hub.

What’s next: The NWAAAE board will convene its next planning session in early 2026 to set priorities for the upcoming term.
