Early returns show Metea Valley and Waubonsie Valley battling for DuKane Conference positioning on the boys' side, while West Aurora and Rosary paced a competitive girls' field at the Upstate Eight meet hosted at Blackberry Farm. Aurora Christian runners posted strong times at the Northeastern Athletic Conference race in Elgin, with senior leadership carrying the Eagles toward sectional berths.
