Pickens Technical College director Andrew Vidockler has been appointed to the Colorado Workforce Development Council (CWDC) for a three‑year, governor‑appointed term. Vidockler, who has nearly two decades of experience in education and administration and has been with Aurora Public Schools for six years—first as assistant director of Pickens and then as director since July 2026—will work with business, education, government and workforce leaders to expand career pathways and address Colorado’s evolving workforce needs.

“I believe in high‑quality education and clear pathways to future success… Innovative partnerships like this allow us to bridge workforce gaps, align systems, and set every individual on a path toward lifelong success,” Vidockler said.

APS Executive Director Zach Rahn noted the appointment supports the district’s Reimagine High School initiative and its goal of linking high school, post‑secondary education and industry for students across Aurora.
