SafeSplash Swim School Reopens in Aurora Under New Ownership
Good news for Aurora families: SafeSplash Swim School is back and better than ever. After a brief pause, the popular downtown‑area swim center has reopened under new ownership, bringing fresh energy, upgraded facilities, and a renewed commitment to water safety for kids of all ages.
Located just off S. Main Street, the revamped school now offers a wider range of classes—from infant “tummy‑time” sessions to competitive stroke training for teens. Parents can expect smaller teacher‑to‑student ratios, flexible scheduling, and a modernized pool deck that meets the latest health‑and‑safety standards. The new owners, longtime Aurora residents who grew up swimming in the community pool, say their mission is simple: “Make every child in Aurora feel confident and safe in the water.”
Local parents are already noticing the difference. “My daughter loves the new lesson plans and the instructors are so attentive,” says Megan, a mother of two from the Aurora Highlands. The school also partners with nearby schools and the Aurora Parks & Recreation Department to host free water‑safety workshops throughout the year.
